Our Story

5:30 pm FRIDAY the 22nd is the start of the Welcome Party.The Bluegrass Boys, an Asheville based band will play music born in the mountains of North Carolina. Ciao Y'all will be making pizzas to order and serving beverages. Dessert will be available.The Dress code for Friday is casual and must be suitable for dancing to good old North Carolina Mountain/Bluegrass music. You are in the mountains, when the sun sets things cool off quickly, Bring a warm jacket to wear around the campfire and a light raincoat and/or umbrella.

Earth and Sky Dwellings can accomodate all guests.  We highly recommend sharing your house with other people.  this will both save you some $$ and allow you to spend quality time together in a lovely  mountain setting.

You must contact Earth and Sky directly by telephone at 828-417-4079 to book your house. Inform them you are a guest at the Rispoli/Miller Wedding as we have a significant rate reduction for you.They have many different and unusual houses to choose from. Their website is the best place to get these details although you must call them to make a reservation. Do not use their website to make a reservation.

We sincerely hope everyone stays on the mountain, you will be happy you did, but If you choose to NOT stay at the venue, the heart of downtown Asheville is 7 miles away. There are many, many fine hotels there.The very closest hotel to the venue is Holiday Inn Express, 4 Reynolds Mountain Blvd, Asheville, NC. Their phone number is 828-367-9650,

Sharing stories, food and drinks with people you do not get to spend time with.

You will be in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and we will organize some fun hikes for our guests.

Visiting eclectic downtown Asheville is only a 15 minute drive away. Also gorgeous waterfall hikes, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore House, really GREAT restaurants, and lots of live music are close by. We hope you can stay a few more days to take in the offerings of Western North Carolina.

The Biltmore Estate is a must visit while you are in Asheville.The Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Ridge Parkway is worth a trip.Take a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway towards Mount Pisgah. Stop at the Pisgah Inn for a glass of wine and an unforgettable mountain view.fLaZoom comedy bus tour in downtown Asheville is a lot of fun.Greyline Trolley Tours of Asheville will give you a good tour of Asheville.The PINBALL MUSEUM.Any number of rooftop bars. Hemmingways and Soprana have fabulous views.

Things to Do

Bring WARM jackets.Friday evening will be a casual affair. Wear your best dancing shoes while enjoying bluegrass music, pizza and adult beverages.

Saturday will be semi formal. Women should plan on dressy separates or cocktail dresses. All events will be held outside so layers are a good option . It gets cool at night. BRING WARM JACKETS.

Exit 21 off of Route 26 is the New Stock Road exit. Take this exit. Turn right onto New Stock Road. At the light turn left onto Weaverville Road followed by an immediate right up the hill BEFORE the Ingles Grocery Store Parking lot. This is Leisure mountain Road. Continue climbing up this road (it is very hilly and curvy) for about one mile. Turn RIGHT when you see a sign for Foxfire. You are now in the venue. Continue driving through the venue, past the houses until you get to the bottom of the hill and see the townhouses and the pavillion. Someone will be there to direct you to your house.
